9ct Yellow Gold Brooch
 
The customer wanted to utilise the gold from two signet rings and an amethsyst earring which had huge sentimental value. The gold was melted down to form an ingot. This was then shaped and redesigned to create a brooch which he could wear on his jacket. The amethyst from the earring and the diamond from one of the signet rings were upcycled and set within the brooch. The brooch has a cross hatched hammered texture.
